The Globe does a feature on up-and-coming local access star and Newton Tab editorial cartoonist Mark Marderosian and neglects to mention that he's the Newton Tab editorial cartoonist.
I suppose there's a reason boston.com has posted a GateHouse video about how great the Newton Tab is. Maybe it's the ads they've wrapped around it.
Imagine if they held a blog and nobody showed up - the Tab tries to keep people from replying to their own replies; frequent repliers try a boycott to see what happens (read the entire thread for full effect).

Borderline looks at the Globe's new Westword blog, which covers the western suburbs and goes ick: It consists almost entirely of promotional blurbs for items already in the paper and has no comments. In contrast:
