The Washington Post reports a PAC supporting Ted Cruz is using snippets of an interview of Donald Trump by Bay Windows' Sue O'Connell to snarl about Trump to South Carolina voters. The robocall accuses O'Connell of wanting to force people to make cakes for her.

In Bay Windows, Sue O'Connell and Jeff Coakley endorsed Mike Ross:

A strong mayor needs empathy along with leadership. Ross has consistently and reliably been a leader on LGBT issues—most recently on the challenges facing our community's senior population. As mayor, his experience in both public and private life would positively inform his leadership of the city.

The 31-year-old LGBT newspaper says it's been hit by the decline in newspaper advertising revenue just like every other print outlet and hopes contributions could let it continue to offer print and online versions without a fee.

Sam Baltrusis writes about a dust-up between Bay Windows and New England Blade over who is the "official" newspaper of Boston Pride: Seem the blade slapped "Official guide to Boston Pride" on a supplement even though the Pride committee designated Bay Windows as its official newspaper (i.e., they have a deal to share ad revenue).
