Think Jim Aloisi would allow something like that? In addition to the whole sister/Blue Mass. Group thing, there's this little video of him taking credit for saving $31 million at the turnpike authority for laying people off, two weeks before the turnpike authority admitted it hadn't laid people off:

The state transportation uberczar didn't like the Globe's story about his sister's alleged do-nothing legislative job, but rather than telling Globe reporter Andrea Estes that to her face, he posted his displeasure on Blue Mass. Group last night:

... The Globe story was unfair and inaccurate and clearly designed to take a shot at me through her. That story was disgraceful. ...

Strong words for the burg's paper of record from a guy who was given a chance to respond before the story went to bed, Adam Reilly writes.

Interesting discussion over at Blue Mass. Group on those proposed Vehicle Miles Traveled chips for a road-use tax features a guest appearance by state Transportation Secretary Jim Aloisi, who says a similar program in Oregon shows how the state could collect information without drivers having to worry about Orwellian eyes on their every move.

The Blue Mass. boys talked to Deval Patrick yesterday about sealing wax and things and Jim Aloisi. Patrick explains why he picked the lawyer who helped give us the Big Dig in its current configuration to reform transportation in the state. Among other things:
