Rose's Bounty, which has a drive-up food pantry twice a month at the Stratford Street United Church, at the corner of Stratford Street and Anawan Avenue in West Roxbury, agreed last night to try to reduce the impact on neighbors from people coming for food pickups in numbers that remain higher than before the start of the pandemic. Percussion Sensation STOMP Partners with Project Bread to STOMP Out Hunger!
A large gift of funds has been awarded to Boston-area hunger relief agencies to support their work throughout the long winter ahead. Project Bread, the state’s leading antihunger organization, distributed $616,825 to 91 emergency food services as part of its annual Appreciation and Grant Award Ceremony at the Colonnade Hotel Boston last night.

And The Walk for Hunger, Project Bread’s annual fundraiser, has never been timelier. On May 3, thousands of people will come to Boston for the 20-mile pledge walk to raise money during the 41st Walk for Hunger.
