When we think of comfort food - food that warms our hearts and bodies and makes the world OK again - we think of noodles. Ramen, pho, macaroni and cheese. There's nothing like coming inside from a brisk fall day and sitting down to food that's clearly been prepared with care and delighting in the comforting textures and sensations of a warm noodle dish.

Sidewalks in Watertown Square were filled with Black Lives Matter writing in chalk until this afternoon when, as Mary Burns reports a guy with a bucket and mop walked around whitewashing out every single "Black" mention. Read more.

Burning trackless-trolley wires in Watertown Square

The overhead wires for the 71 trackless trolley don't do much good when they catch on fire, as they did this afternoon in Watertown Square - as Itbeale captured.

Massachusetts State Police tweet Watertown Square is a mess this morning thanks to a truck that brought down trackless-trolley wires.

The Staties add the ramp from 128 north to 95 north in Peabody is literally a mess - and shut down - thanks to a tractor trailer that overturned and spilled its load of ink cartridges, giving the road surface some new coloration. Photo.

The heel went right up to a woman at a bus stop, took her shoe off and licked her foot, Channel 7 reports:

The fact this dude was able to walk up and take a woman's shoe off and lick her foot, that's strange. You don't think that would happen in downtown Watertown, you know?
