The Santander Bank branch at 860 River St. was held up around 3:40 p.m. by a man who motioned as if he had a gun. He's described as black, 5'5" and wearing a green army hat, sunglasses and a lavender/bluish long-sleeve shirt.

The FBI's Bank Robbery Task Force reports the Santander Bank branch at 585 Columbia Rd., at Stoughton, was held up yesterday.

The suspect is described as 5'7" or 5'8" and muscular.

If he looks familiar, contact the task force at 617-742-5533. There could be a reward in it for you.

Shortly after 2 p.m., the Santander Bank branch at 61 Arlington St. was held up by a black man in a black puffy coat with gray accents. He was about 30.

Boston Police report the Santander Bank branch at 780 Gallivan Blvd. was held up yesterday by a guy who demanded a teller hand over "all the large bills." Read more.

The FBI reports it is looking for a guy in a camo hoodie who stuck up the Santander Bank branch at 780 Gallivan Blvd. on Oct. 21 - a few days after he apparently also robbed a bank in East Boston. Read more.

The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force reports a bank robbery at a Columbia Road Santander Bank branch on Tuesday.

Subject passed a note to the bank teller threatening violence if she did not receive money. After receiving the robbery money, subject fled on foot along Columbia Road.

Suspect also has a shamrock tattoo on her shoulder.

The Santander Bank branch at 437 Rutherford Ave. was held up around 11:20 a.m.

The suspect is a white man in a white sweatshirt and a white Red Sox cap showing two red socks rather than a B. He's about 5'7" and in his 20s.

Brookline bank robbery suspect

Brookline Police report they are looking for a scruffy-bearded 20something for two bank holdups near the Allston line on Tuesday.

Wanted for bank robbery

The FBI's Bank Robbery Task Force reports it is looking for a man who held up the Santander Bank branch at 780 Gallivan Blvd. around 3:50 p.m. on Sept. 5.

He gave a teller a note and left with various denominations of currency.

He's described as white, in his mid-20s, with a slim build, about 5' and 150 lbs. He wore a white Sox cap with a red brim, a black long-sleeved shirt, navy-blue gym shorts and black sneakers.

The Santander Bank branch, 1617 Blue Hill Ave., was held up around 3:25 p.m., by a man who showed a notes. He's described as black, about 5"7" and 125 lbs., and wearing a black hoodie and black pants. Also, the dye pack the bank slipped into the money went off, so he's probably covered in red.

The FBI's Bank Robbery Task Force reports it's looking for a guy who tried holding up the Santander Bank branch on Winter Street in Downtown Crossing on Tuesday , only to learn he'd gotten a teller with no money:

Teller explained she had no money in her drawers, at which time the [suspect] became agaitated and demanded money again. After being shown there was no money in the drawers, [suspect] fled the bank on foot towards Summer St.

Burst pipe at Santander Bank on Boylston Street in Boston

Katie Painter reports a burst pipe at the Santander Bank branch at 575 Boylston St. sent water flooding onto the street and set off the bank's alarms around noontime.

Dan Adams reports a sprinkler burst on the first floor of Spaulding Hospital, closing its kitchen.
