Jim Gavaghan, who took the photo, reports a man was taken to the hospital this morning with injuries serious enough to have the BPD homicide and fatal-accident reconstruction teams called in after he was hit by a car on Preble Street between Rogers and Ward streets.
The driver, whose windshield the man hit, remained on the scene.
