Boston Police report the person shot to death at W. 5 and Dorchester streets on April 9 was Joel Leon, 19, of Milton.

Boston Police report a man was found shot around 7:55 p.m. at W. 5 and Dorchester streets. He was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police found shell casings outside 235 W. 5, about a block away.
Because of the investigation, traffic was not allowed down the street and residents were not allowed out of their homes.
