The shooter, a passenger in a blue BMW SUV, was described as black, about 20, with braids and a moustache. The driver was a black woman, about 40, wearing a clear shower cap.
Brian D'Amico reports the victim was shot around 9:50 p.m. and that a silver Altima was spotted fleeing the scene. Not long after, he reports, police spotted the car on Almont Street. Three young men began running away; police recovered a gun there.
The shooting scene is near where four people were shot to death in 2010.

Authorities today announced the arrest of a second man on murder charges for the deaths of three adults and a child on Woolson Street in Mattapan on Sept. 28.
Dwayne Moore, 33, of Mattapan, was arrested today for the Sept. 28 murders of three adults and one child on Woolson Street in Mattapan, Boston Police and the Suffolk County District Attorney's office announced.
Moore was charged with killing Levaughn Washum-Garrison, Simba Martin and Eyanna Flonory and her 2-year-old son Amanihotep Smith on Sept. 28.
Police and prosecutors said they could not comment further because a Suffolk County grand jury is currently investigating the crimes.
