A Dorchester man who was in a Hyde Park apartment Tuesday night faces a variety of gun charges related to the death of a man police say broke into the apartment.
Troy Adams, 53, had bail set at $10,000 at his arraignment today on charges of charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of a firearm with altered serial numbers and possession of a large-capacity feeding device, police say.
Boston Police report one of the two men found shot at 226 Margaretta Dr. in the Georgetowne development Tuesday night died after being transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital. The other man remains hospitalized.
"At this point the incident appears to be domestic in nature and not a random act," police say.
This is the small street's second murder this year.
