Vesa Tormanen spotted this guy on a 32 bus barreling down Hyde Park Avenue to Forest Hills this morning. "Not something you see every day on the MBTA," he notes.
The Bulletin reports a recent meeting of the Clare Avenue Neighborhood Watch focused on how crowded the 32 bus on Hyde Park Avenue is. State Rep. Russell Holmes said the T might be able to add buses, but then the problem is that Hyde Park Avenue is too damn congested and the extra buses would only make that worse.
Seems people are continuing to park across from the train station, even though the city never cleared the road to the curb, narrowing the road to one lane and creating backups that now extend down to Roslindale.
The Clumsy Jeweler reported around 9 a.m. on her efforts to get a bus to the train station this morning:
5 full 32's passed since 7:45. Finally got on one. Driver says it will be an hour to Forest Hills.
