The Boston Fire Department reports that around 3:45 p.m., firefighters responded to a report of a car fire on the turnpike in the Pru tunnel - which sent smoke into the first floor of Copley Place - and found the flaming car and two separate crashes, one involving six cars, the other two cars.

The annual Donna Summer Disco Party, in honor of Boston's own, returns this month after being canceled last summer. The free party starts at 6 p.m. on June 24 in Copley Square.

No roller rink this time, but, yes, a disco ball - along with glow sticks and lots of lights. Also, hand sanitizer (attendees are encouraged to wear a mask, although one isn't required).

A Florida-based developer yesterday filed plans with the BPDA for adding five floors to the three-story buildings that now house Abe & Louie’s, Crate and Barrel and the Atlantic Fish Co. on Boylston Street in the Back Bay. Read more.

The MBTA reports 20-minute delays on the Green Line due to "a train with a mechanical problem approaching Copley eastbound."

This comes a few hours after the Green Line was completely stopped after a trolley lost its pantograph at Park Street.
