The FBI has posted photos of the guy they say held up the East Boston Savings Bank branch at 501 Southampton St. in South Boston's Andrew Square around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

The East Boston Times-Free Press reports that when a teller accidentally gave Phyllis DelVechhio an extra $100 with her withdrawal, DelVecchio returned and gave the money back. The bank then gave her a $100 gift card - and a Dunkin' Donuts gift card - for her honesty.

A woman who demanded exactly $5,300 robbed the East Boston Savings Bank branch at 430 West Broadway Monday afternoon after telling the teller that both she and her son had cancer and that she would blow up the bank with the device she was holding if she did not get the money, the FBI Bank Robbery Task Force reports. The East Boston Savings Bank branch at 305 Talbot Ave. was held up around 2:15 p.m. by 20-year old Hispanic man, 5'6" to 5'8" and wearing a gray hoodie under a North Face jacket, with black pants and sneakers.

The FBI's Bank Robbery Task Force reports it's looking for a guy who held up the East Boston Savings Bank branch at 515 Centre St. shortly before 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
Subject entered the bank and approached the teller station after waiting in line. Handed the teller a demand note for money and also made a verbal demand. Received money from the teller and fled the bank in the direction of Spring Park Ave.

East Boston Savings Bank, 515 Centre St., around 3:50 p.m. The suspect is described as a black man in his early 20s, about 5'6" and wearing a gray hoodie.

The FBI is on the hunt for a man they say robbed the East Boston Savings Bank branch at 708 E. Broadway around 8:45 a.m. on Friday.
He's described as 5'10" to 6' and between 180 and 200 lbs, with dark hair, dark eyes and a mole on his left cheek. Read more.

UPDATE: Quincy man pleads guilty.
The FBI's Bank Robbery Task Force reports the East Boston Savings Bank branch at 430 W. Broadway was held up around 9:25 a.m. yesterday by a white man clad in black, about 6' and 190 to 200 lbs.
