Transit Police report two "juvenile females" punched and spit at a 50-year-old woman and pulled her hair around 5 p.m. on Feb. 19 on a T bus in the area of Washington Street and Columbia Road. The teens then fled.
Boston Restaurant Talk reports Comfort Kitchen has opened in a long abandoned comfort station on Columbia Road in Uphams Corner - as a cafe during the day and a sit-down restaurant with a bar at night, featuring "the flavors and ingredients of the African diaspora - global comfort food - connected from Asia to the Americas."

State Police report a man on a 2016 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide "went off the roadway, struck the raised curb, entered the grass median and struck a tree" on a curve at Columbia Road and Babe Ruth Park Drive around 2:40 a.m.
