Dorchester stabbing victim was young mother

Family members and friends have identified the woman stabbed to death in a fight early Saturday as Maria Cecilia Sanchez, who went by Cecilia Marie Johnson online. A member of her family was also stabbed in the melee at 188 Washington St.
Sanchez, 26, leaves a young daughter, her parents and siblings.
A relative has set up a GoFundMe page to help the family pay for funeral costs.

People neighboring these houses where parties are happening need to start calling the police or the BPD party hotline. Sure people deserve to have some fun on the weekend, but 3:45am is overboard for a residential neighborhood. Why its tolerated is beyond me. Its nothing but trouble brewing.

Murder of Cecilia Johnson
This is so sad, I did know this woman, who was so young smh. Why the media has not covered this story is beyond me, and really just disguises me on what they do report, but I have submitted the story to all stations, as have others to hopefully get more info on the murderers. She was a beautiful young woman, and she or nobody deserves what they did to her. Whoever did this will be caught, whoever you are, believe that. My other friend who was with her is still in the hospital, please send your prayers for her. Thank you Universal Hub, and all who share this info. RIP CELCILIA JOHNSON

I knew this woman very well,
I knew this woman very well, she was an amazing mother, a great cook and just the best person to be around. She actually taught me how to make a mmeeaaannn chicken broccoli and ziti and how to be a "real puerto rican" haha. It's sickening to find out that she was taken so violently and especially to leave behind a beautiful 8-yr old princess. Ceci, i got absolutely nothing but respect and love for you. I'll miss you dearly
