eastie... The great East Boston that WAS full of proud Italians. Now it's a hole to the fiery depths of hell... eastie is also a word that decribes a resident of the area

The streets in eastie are so narrow and the cars are lined up so tight i dont know how they get out in the morning!?

I've never heard of East Boston called "Eastie". I think this is something made up by the people who lived in East Boston because they were jealous of Southie's nickname.
