By adamg on Fri, 12/18/2009 - 12:46pm
Channel 4 reports on the deal the hit-and-run Cambridge state senator got today for plowing into the back of a family's van and then running off and hiding from police: Six months' house arrest and loss of his license. Also: random alcohol testing.

I hope he does get himself
I hope he does get himself help but I hope he just takes a step back and decides not to run for reelection. At this point I do not even care if he resigns, I just want him to not run again. Let him finish his term in office but let's not allow him to run again.
Actually, I'd be more
Actually, I'd be more concerned with him driving again than running for office. With all the other criminals in the Legislature, one more won't hurt. With his driving record, he could kill people.
He lost that right for 5
He lost that right for 5 years but not by choice. Obviously he does not feel the same, otherwise he would have stopped driving a long time ago. He obviously has bad judgement if he thought he was sober so many times before and ended up getting into trouble and his bad judgement continued in how he handled those matters.
Townies still support
Townies still support him.....go figure...

Galluccio needs to resign. Now.
He cannot possibly serve his constituency effectively while serving the house-arrest sentence. He should step down at once so that a special election can be scheduled to replace him. (And, in a just world, he'd have to pay the cost of that election.)
Oh for the love of Galluccio
Oh for the love of Galluccio no more special elections!
