Epic battle in Wellesley cemetery: Fox vs. skunk

The key to getting along with a skunk: they know they are badass, and you should know and respect that. They can be rather congenial in their interactions, so long as you understand that one basic rule. I've even accidentally startled one before, and she just sauntered away calmly as if I had bumped her in a hallway. I'd bet that in these pictures that skunk was well aware of the fox - she was just waiting to see how naive it was.

Disrespect a skunk, like Mr. Fox, and you will get badassed. Nuclear option, no questions asked. Our neighbor had a "sight hound" dog that would chase everything and anything. She got seriously badassed.

Someone needs to learn how to make their photo file sizes just a bit smaller.
