Roslindale turned out for the annual Roslindale Day Parade today. Marching bands marched, politicians politicked and, at least where we were, everbody seemed to have a good time:
This marked the first year zombies marched in the parade:
But, as always, cute kids marched:
Three of the five people running for the vacant District 6 city-council seat (O'Malley, Hennigan and Ryan) marched; O'Malley was the clear winner in the parade for the number of signs:
Roslindale Square's two Mexican businesses - El Chavo and Romano's - teamed up on a float that included a guy in a luchador mask (which you can buy at El Chavo before taking it off across the street for some lunch):

No Roslindale parade would be complete without a tractor:
