Exciting AM - just did CPR on a commuter at west newton. We got to him just after he collapsed; started CPR.
And Newton EMS shocked him from vfib back to sinus rhythm ... He had a pulse when we put him on the ambulance.

That man was my father. I am happy to report that he is in good condition and is recovering from the trauma. Thankfully, he was quickly stabilized at the Newton Wellesley Hospital ER. He was then transferred to Beth Israel where he immediately underwent procedures to remove the blockage that caused the heart arrhythmia. I would like to thank everyone involved in the emergency care of my father. It is because of your quick thinking and unwavering diligence in this time sensitive situation that my father is alive right now, and seems to have no long term damage done to either his heart or brain. Thank you all very much, from myself and my entire family.
Michael P - So glad to hear
Michael P - So glad to hear your dad is well, he collapsed right behind me and almost fell right into me. I called 911 and watched as the paramedics worked their magic on your dad. I have been thinking of him all day and hoping he was going to be ok. I am so relieved to hear that he is recovering and has his family around him for love and support. All the best as he continues his recovery!
