Eliot School parents put in symbolic bid for vacant city buildings

I'd also like to know what all the at-large city councilors are doing about increasing the walk zone school exemptions - apparently there is some new committee looking at lottery reform and hopefully they will take up the issue that all the at-large candidates favored of increasing the walk to ratio from 50% to 75%. Sounds like an eminently fair and reasonable proposal as a half step toward neighborhood schools while keeping options open for those dissatisfied with their nearby options.
