The official Cowboy of the Commonwealth needs an official Sandwich of the Commonwealth on those long trail rides

So what was state Rep Kathi Reinstein's initial reaction to the news that her colleagues will consider making Rex Trailer the official state cowboy?

"What about Fluff?" the Revere Democrat tweeted this morning.

Of course! You may recall Reinstein filed a bill in 2006 to make the Fluffernutter the official Sandwich of the Commonwealth after state Sen. Jarrett Barrios, D-Somerville-for-Christ's-sake, proposed banning Fluff from school menus.

Reinstein followed up that she has not filed a Fluffernutter bill this year, but:

Am ALWAYS a supporter of Fluff. If enough people reach out perhaps I'll file it again.

So, people, get at her.
