Sad news about the hot dog man

I wrote a review in the Boston Phoenix in 2008 of what was then known as Boston Speed's Famous Hot Dog Wagon, shortly after Gale bought the place from longtime owner Ezra "Speed" Anderson.
My favorite anecdote about Gale involves his encounter with very happy customer Warren Buffett: http://www.boston.com/ae/celebrity/articles/2011/0... .
Tough year for Boston dining institutions. RIP, Gregg.
That's too bad.

Without knowing him personally, much less even been to his hot-dog stand, I'm sorry to hear of Gregg's passing. My condolences are with his friends and loved ones, as well as all his customers.
Freaking bummer....

That guy was great and so were his dogs. He strived to do something different than the other hot dog carts in the city, and he certainly did that. RIP Gregg you hadn't been on earth long enough.
Nice guy

He was a very nice guy. Too young. Will miss his fun business and his delicious food. Hadn't been there in a while but went today and wondered where he was.
