God Save The Commonwealth

Tea party twitter accounts broadcast climate change denial propaganda funded by the Koch brothers and American Petroleum Institute. In the face of world wide protests calling for policy to mitigate climate change, they tell anyone who will listen that we should fear the Islamic State instead.

I say we should assess each threat independently and on the merit.

We have less than 20 years to act on climate.

The Islamic state is more interested in capturing holy sights in Saudi Arabia than the National Cathedral in Washington DC but they're into genocide so lets not get caught doing stupid stuff like invading Iraq with the 82nd Airborne again.
