Hoses, hoses, hoses: Burning bushes smoke up the waterfront

Fire at the Design Center

Firefighters are battling a series of burning bushes at the Boston Design Center on the South Boston waterfront.

Smoke from the fire quickly filled the area around Black Falcon Terminal and the Reserved Channel around 1:40 p.m.

Obviously you cannot tell the difference between food processing, back office space, light retail, and high end furniture sales and residential units.

... is at least 1.3 mile walk, maybe more (the Design Center is a really long building). So your statement makes sense only if you'd say that the John Hancock Tower is "in the same area" as Fenway Park.

I work in 23 Drydock. For some reason when I first saw all the smoke my first thoughts were "Oh man did the Snow Farm finally go up?"
