Yacht for sale in Boston

It's a good thing Adam Castaglioni didn't have his checkbook with him on a visit to a Charlestown marina today.

Not sure what Constitution charges, but some of the marinas in Boston are over $300 a foot.

You can check the listing here:

Correct that there are no real estate taxes, but you will have to pay sales tax (6.25%) upon buying it and an annual excise tax and mooring tax every year thereafter (much like a car). Then there's the non-tax expenses such as marina fees, maintenance (usually estimated as 10% of the purchase price per year), insurance, and on a boat that size, there's probably a couple full-time crew members.

Kerry's yacht has a raked stern.

This yacht has a reverse transom.
