I wonder if they will eventually unfold the newspapers to see the contents. I realize they will probably rip from the process but it it would still be invaluable knowledge.

I imagine they will be scanned with an MRI machine to "read" the newspaper without having to unfold it.

Undoubtedly other copies of these issues have been digitized and are easily available on-line or in library databases. All one would need is the name and date of the newspaper to find the information.

The whole presentation would have benefited from having a historian there to explain the items and put them into cultural context.
