There's a great scene in the 1983 movie "Baby It's You," with Rosanna Arquette as a Jersey girl who gets accepted to (I think) Sarah Lawrence. Her parents help her move into her dorm room, chatting amiably about this, that and the other thing, and Rosanna says, "Dad! You're talking loudly again!"

One of the more pleasing effects of the harbor clean up effort. I've seen seals in near the Coast Guard base at least once a week since early October, usually spy hopping on the surface. There is also at least one seal that likes to haul out on docks in Charlestown. It has been doing it during the last 3-4 winters.
