I hadn't heard about Boston high school / college students skipping class for anti-Trump rallies... where were these that you are referring to? The only ones I've heard about were late afternoon/ early evening which is after most students are finished with classes. Whereas the previous pro-Trump / neo Nazi (anti-Trump hoax) rally scheduled on the Common was from 2pm to 7pm on a Friday. It's mentioned on UHub so look it up yourself.
