DA: Woman ends kitchen argument by plunging knife into other woman's chest

Elba Morales, 47, was ordered held without bail at her arraignment for the murder of Sasha Morris, 34, in the kitchen of Morris's boyfriend on Fayston Street early this morning.

Morales and Morris got into an argument shortly before 1 a.m. when Morales took a kitchen knife and stabbed Morris, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office charges. Morris was rushed to Boston Medical Center, where she died.

Morales allegedly fled the scene and went to the apartment of another person whom she knew in the same building. She then left the building and attempted to leave the area in that person’s vehicle but was stopped by responding Boston Police. Based on the statements of persons present at the scene, they took her into custody.
