A Suffolk Superior Court jury today convicted Elba Morales of voluntary manslaughter for the Dec. 20, 2016 death of Sasha Morris in the Fayston Street apartment of Morris's boyfriend, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. Read more.
Elba Morales, 47, was ordered held without bail at her arraignment for the murder of Sasha Morris, 34, in the kitchen of Morris's boyfriend on Fayston Street early this morning. Read more.
Boston Police report arresting Elba Morales, 47, of 7 Fayston St., on charges she fatally stabbed her neighbor around 12:50 a.m.
The victim, in her 30s, was taken to Boston Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Morales is scheduled for arraignment in Dorchester Municipal Court today.
