Dorchester murder victim identified as Brandon Smith, 28

Boston Police report the man shot to death in broad daylight on Hancock Street on July 7 was Brandon Smith, 28, of Dorchester.

Police say they are continuing to investigate the shooting, in which a woman was shot in the leg.
