The glowing bride in the cool old car in Harvard Square

Mystery bride after wedding in Harvard Square

UPDATE: Bride and photographer found each other in the comments below!

A little more than a year ago, Gregory Ralich was in Harvard Square when he spotted this cool old white Rolls-Royce. Then he saw the bride in it:

She was super bubbly and glowing and I asked if i could take her picture and she said yes.

He got back the pictures a few weeks later (yes, he had a film camera) - and he's been trying ever since to find the woman:

It breaks my heart to think that she may never see how beautiful this moment came out through the magic of a random combination of terrible traffic and a point n shoot camera that is older than me.. but I believe in the universe and timing and love and connections and I just KNOW that some how some way we can find her!

Does she look familiar? Let him know.

Two seconds to find the company which owns this vehicle, they know who rented it on said date.

So, you call and say you want to know who used their services on a certain date.

Great...and the reason they're going to violate their customers' privacies and give out their info to you just so you can try to see if they're the right person in a photo you took (IF that's even true...how would they know?) is?

The photographer gives the limo company a copy of the photo and the photographer's contact info.

The limo company then passes this info onto their customer.

It's up to the customer to decide if she wants to contact the photographer. The photographer is never told who the woman is by the limo company but she's given his info in case she wants to speak with him.

This happens all the time.

There can't be that many companies that rent vintage Rolls Royces in Boston. Given that he knows the date, it shouldn't be that hard to track her down through the rental company.

But I'm guessing that if she rented a Rolls Royce limo for the wedding, she also hired a photographer, so she probably does, in fact, have plenty of photos of the event.

But she doesn't have THAT picture and it's really lovely. And it would be a wonderful surprise (I imagine) for her to get that picture. It's great that the photographer wants to get it to her.

Life's more than just practical considerations (ie "she already has photos from that day")!

I'm so glad you found the photo (or it found you). You reminded me a little of my own wedding day, as my bride and I rode in an old Bentley. Hmm where are my photos? Around here somewhere.

Happy Anniversary as well!
