Man shot in Cambridge in possible drive-by

Cambridge Police report a man was shot on Harvard Street near Davis Street around 9:10 p.m.

The man, in his 40s and shot in the hip, was taken to a Boston hospital with injuries considered life threatening, police say.

The shots possibly came from a passing vehicle.

Police responded to the same stretch of Harvard Street on July 4 on a report of gunfire.
