Jodi Solomon reports the wait was an hour long this afternoon in the rain to vote at Curtis Hall in Jamaica Plain. By 7 p.m., the line was still long but moving nicely, Joe Growhoski reported.
The line did move nicely. The folks working this "pop up" polling station were very friendly and efficient. The city could have found someplace larger or used more space in Curtis Hall. It was obvious that the city misjudged the voters in JP.... odd right? Other interesting tid bit... they check you in via tablets, I was wondering how they would work that, since anyone in the city could have voted there.
