I thought they already were
I thought they already were serving single bottle of beer in their fridge? Did that stop? I don't know because since the old man died, I stopped going.
Not Really The Same Old Place .... ?
Also noticed a sign that they are now serving breakfast also..... Guess its not really The Same Old Place... as it once was and thats not a bad thing.
They've been
Serving breakfast for like 20 years on those shitty yellow styrofoam plates.
Same Old Place (Or Standard
Same Old Place (Or Standard Operating Procedure as I sometimes call it) offered breakfast before, actually, and it stopped right around the time Ciampa passed. I loved it because they were open around 7, early enough to grab a bite on my way to work without going completely out of my way. The current offering (which I only noticed today) is pretty similar to the old breakfast menu, with maybe one or two new additions/combos. The only other difference is the whiteboard the menu is on and the sandwich board outside. Although even after they stopped breakfast, they kept an egg sandwich on the regular menu (shaved steak and egg). Glad to see it back - probably not much different from the last go, which was Robinwood-esque in quality.
They must have lost
Their license because they served beer not to long ago, maybe 3 years.
Oh, yeah, they did serve beer, didn't they?
Well, might be an interesting hearing then.
Yup
I have definitely had beer there.... Not sure of the last time but within the last year at least..interesting
Love this place! The folks
Love this place! The folks working there are nice, and the pizza is cheap and greasy. What more could you want?
I'm guessing
A nice frosty $2 draft. Their pizza is amazing.
