No authentic bagels around the Boston metropolitan area.
None of the bagels available around Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline, Chelsea have the authentic textures, fragrance, flavor of the best New York bagels.
No sweat
I'll keep going to Kupel's right across(ish) the street from Butcherie, and be glad that the line is just one person shorter because theszak heads to the City every weekend for his bagels, schmear, and lox.
P.S. Kupel's isn't open on Saturdays, so plan accordingly.
