Sad if true

That's sad if it's true. What's odd is that I just made a reservation there five minutes ago. If they're closed for good, why are they accepting reservations? (Also, neither Yelp nor Open Table knows anything about this.)

Via the restaurant website, it is on!y possible to make a reservation for the Boston location, not the closed Cambridge location. The BRT poster confirmed the Cambridge closing by calling and listening to the voicemail msg.

And they are still accepting them. The reservations link is from the Elephant Walk website, which has not been updated to show the closure.
Owner's Responsibility

Maybe the staff did not know they were closing. That happens all too often.
As to Yelp and similar, it is up to the owner to modify their accounts. Yelp has no way of knowing otherwise, nor do they care.
They will continue to bill the business for their advertising until such time as the business takes a step to make changes. So there is no interest on the part of Yelp and similar to investigate for themselves.

in the basement of the old police station, a space now home to Brass Union. They were in Union Square long before Union Square was "cool".
I wonder why.

Yes, sad. I always had good meals there and it seemed quite busy. A big plus was that they had parking.
