What air?
The skater is clearly doing a grind in which his rear truck and one of his two rear wheels are in contact with the cement, what air is he getting?

The fact he's in a sideways position
which is only possible because he's moving through the air. Try standing up on a vertical or near vertical surface like that, even without a skateboard, without immediately falling over.

Two different things!
