Bobbie, who lives off Green Street between Washington and Amory in Jamaica Plain, reports her power has been out since 3 a.m.:
Eversource says damage to their electrical equipment. Guess I'll be throwing out a lot of food.
JF reports his Kendall Square building blinked out around 1:25 p.m.
As of 1:55 p.m., Eversource reported 170 customers without power in Boston and 658 in Cambridge.

Don't worry. You can go to Eversource's website to report your power is out and get a status text 48 hours after it mysteriously comes back on. Yeah Meaahm...we're workin' on it. Meanwhile, make sure you pay that inflated bill with hidden fees.
Eastie too
Eastie just lost it for several minutes. Power goes out a lot in Eastie, but usually just long enough to have to reset all the clocks.
I've lived in rural New York state and had more reliable power than this.
