For what its worth, the SST, the Super Sonic Transport made a one or two of emergency landings at Logan back in the day when it was still flying. I remember being in Dorchester and looking up and seeing what I thought was a Klingon ship! I pulled over and watched it come in. It already had dipped the nose cone to allow the pilot forward vision. Now... that was big.
