The Herald reports the ADL New England office on Court Street downtown, the Solomon Schechter Day School in Newton and the MetroWest Jewish Day School in Framingham were all evacuated this morning.

My first thought is of the president possibly claiming this, like the prior threats, is the work of Jews themselves. Such implications are extremely insulting.
I remember when the country's president didn't attack and threaten minority groups and the President's words couldn't be used as encouragement for those wishing to perpetuate hate crimes. I miss those days.
Didn't they pick up a Bernie Bro for bomb threats?

Are you suggesting only Jews voted for Bernie?
It could be a jew who's placed the calls but that's no excuse to disregard threats or condone violence (or threatened violence) against one religion. Of course, in Trump's world it's the race/religion of the perpetuator that matters, not the crime they commit. That's what makes him a racist dipshit.

The President never said that this was the work of Jews themselves. That was taken from an egregiously misleading headline which was picked up and copied by trash news sites. The original article had a headline claiming he blamed it on the Jews when even the story under that headline negated that statement.
What he did say was something ineloquent about possibly the reverse being true with regard to statements made by others that the perpetrators were his right-wing followers. And with the level of anti Jew hatred spewing from college campuses, i.e., the left, today, that might very well be true. Or, it could be right wing Trump followers.
But one thing he did not say, and I hate to give the orange moron credit, is that it was the work of the Jews themselves. It was shady journalism that brought that misleading statement out into the public.
Why do people hate Jews so much?

And after 2,000 years, it gets to be kind of a habit.
