Everett school superintendent placed on leave while sexual harassment claims are investigated

WBZ reports the School Committee put Fred Foresteire on paid leave. The committee authorized spending $50,000 for an independent investigation of Foresteire, who has been Everett school superintendent for 30 years.

Good work, much left to do
As Adam says, innocent, etc., but this is the good of the #metoo movement, of electing the Ayanna's and Maura's the Teresa's the Angela's of the world. Still so much to do. I was at an allegedly high foolatune holiday party recently, the Mayor and others were there (yes, of course I was in the front row !) and just because I wore a beautiful gold gown, people thought they could put there hands all over me. Men and women! Folks, it's just not appropriate, it is uncomfortable and just because we girls still smile and hold our grace, doesn't mean we don't think you are creepy, aren't talking about you, and now...will bring you down. Alcohol and your pain or anxiety medicines are the lamest excuse since Bill Clinton.
Wake up, act appropriate. Or lose everything. I hope.

This asswipe stuporintendent was caught using his district's special education money for Homecoming Parties and district money and workers to renovate his house and they didn't get rid of him then. He should have been in jail long ago.

Sexual harassment doesn't just become ok because the target is rich or someone you dislike.

Attempting to minimize sexual harassment by trolling is gross.

Since everything TWL posts is fiction, they're not writing about a real occurrence.

What's being satirized here? That a privileged white woman might ever be sexually harassed? That anyone takes those kinds of accusations seriously? I'm not sure how you read this "satire" as anything other than a weirdly targeted attempt to minimize these kinds of issues.

Why wasn't this guy fired 15 years ago?
He stole from the special education fund to fund a football party.
He stole from the school budget to renovate his home.
Everyone knows that he stole a lot more than that from the Everett Schools over time.
Everett folks: please explain why this guy has a job at all? When he steals from you?
