'Falling apart' not just a metaphor on the Orange Line

Juliana Piemonte was on the Orange Line this morning when one end of a ceiling panel fell, narrowly missing the heads of taller riders - who then held the panel up as the train hurtled along the tracks.

Back in the day, newsrooms had someone monitoring the police and fire radio. Other than that, news broke when someone told them about it. Twitter is how it's done now.
At the same time, they nicely asked her if they could use the shot, and at least one of them wanted an interview it seemed. She didn't have to say yes. If you recall that incident when a Pats fan snapped a photo of the hooded one snuggling with his better half on a ferry, the guy not only told ESPN that they couldn't run the photo, he demanded that the apologized over the poor reporting on deflategate.
