The guy was delivering at Tavern on the Harbor and was coming east on Western Ave. As you approach, you can't see the entrance in the turn and it looks like you have to go around the back by turning before the building. He was on the sand rounding the building before he knew what was up and then decided there was no way to back out, so he plowed ahead until he finally sunk into looser sand.

I've seen enough ads to know it's common for beer delivery trucks to drive onto the sand and everyone breaks out in a big party.

He must have previously worked for Budweiser and forgotten it doesn't work the same with Coke.
