Salem State remembers Chris Joyce

NBC Boston reports Salem State University observed a moment of silence at its graduation in honor of Chris Joyce, who would have been the first member of his family to graduate college today, except that he was murdered on May 4. The school gave his family his diploma.

Chris Joyce earned that diploma -- sad that he never was able to enjoy the fruits of his labor. I'm sure his family is proud and honored to accept that degree on his behalf.
