Cambridge Police report arresting a Brighton man they say they caught red-handed, well, green- and white-handed, after having just finished spraying graffiti in those colors on five cars parked on Bishop Allen Drive around 1:30 Monday morning.
A male who was located in the immediate vicinity of the reported damage with several opened spray paint cans under his immediate control, and seemingly fresh spray paint on both his hands and clothing attire. He was read his Miranda Rights on scene before stating he was in fact responsible for the damage sustained to the motor vehicles.
A police spokesman adds:
Two cars sustained a majority of the damage, while the three remaining cars suffered less damage.
It was a combination of designs, numbers and letters.
Michael Lucero, 39, was charged with five counts of larceny of a motor vehicle, police say.
