Correction and update: June 10 stabbing in Egleston Square

On June 10, I posted that a man had been shot at Egleston Pizza on Washington Street in Egleston Square. In fact, he had been stabbed several times on the sidewalk outside and only went into the pizza place to seek help.

Boston Police report he was taken to a local hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries but that he survived. One of two suspects, a 29-year-old Dorchester man, was subsequently arrested, police say.
