The Dorchester Reporter reports how students at the Kenny Elementary School raised $200 to help pay for goats to return to Dorchester Park and munch on poison ivy and other weeds.

I applaud these resourceful kids' efforts.
It's great that goats are brought into the urban world. That kids are raising funds for bringing them into the urban world is even greater.
I hope the kids are allowed exposure to farms, farm animals and the rural and even wild world that the urban world depends upon.
I'm a little disappointed they didn't come up with Tom for a name.
