Malden wall gets some sky spirit

Spirit in the Sky mural on Exchange Street in Malden

A roving UHub photographer captured the work on Exchange Street in Malden to create a mural of a hand releasing a rainbow into the sky, in honor of the release of "Spirit in the Sky." by Malden's own Norman Greenbaum, 50 years ago.

The Kweskin Jug Band also had an interesting history with the Mel Lyman Fort Hill cult.

that Lyman played in the band (banjo & harmonica), but I don't know whether any of the other band members got involved in his cult.

Kweskin was part of the community beginning in the 1960s, later helped found their construction company (now based in LA) and was listed as a VP on the company website in 2016 (all info from Wikipedia, the only current site for the construction company seems to be a Wordpress blog without much info.)

I remember "Uncle Dale" Dorman used to have a video show way back then on Channel 56. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the show.
Any help?
